Lecture Introduction

God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, creating human beings as living souls. In this lecture, we will explore how to wisely understand and manage the health of human beings—who were uniquely created—by examining figures and events in the Bible, asking questions, and seeking answers together.

Lecture Content

How is the human body composed?

- The human body can be broadly divided into spirit and body. Where does the mind belong? Is it part of the spirit or the body?

What is health? (Christian perspective on health)

- Health is a term that refers to a state of being. According to the World Health Organization, health is defined as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

Diseases in the Bible, modern diseases, and the future

- We will examine diseases mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments and explore major modern diseases (such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, cancer, and aging).

The necessity of regular check-ups

- Can Christians truly be free from disease? If not, what kinds of illnesses may come, and how should we prepare for them?

Conclusion: What is the wise way of managing health according to the Bible?

- Biblical health management: What does it mean to prevent disease, manage health, and live wisely?
